Looking for a chic, modern hotel in the heart of Wrocław, Poland? We recently stayed at the AC Hotel by Marriott Wrocław, and it exceeded our expectations in all the best ways. From the moment we stepped through the doors, the mix of classic architecture and contemporary design gave us the sense that this stay was going to be a little bit special… and it absolutely was.
This 4-star boutique-style hotel sits right near the historic Market Square (Rynek), making it a perfect base for exploring Wrocław’s beautiful old town, colourful facades, quirky gnomes and buzzing dining scene.
The Room: Elegant and Comfortable
Our room was modern, sleek and surprisingly spacious. The decor followed the signature AC Hotels aesthetic — minimalist yet warm, with clean lines and thoughtful lighting. The bed was extremely comfortable… a huge plus after days spent walking cobbled streets… and we appreciated the little touches like a coffee machine, plenty of USB ports, and a very spacious bathroom with walk-in shower.
Wellness Facilities: Indoor Pool, Spa & Gym
What really stood out to us was the wellness area — something you don’t always get in city hotels like this.

The indoor pool is tucked beneath brick archways, giving it a moody, almost underground spa vibe. We were honestly surprised at how peaceful and private it felt.

The gym is well equipped with both cardio machines and weights, plus a few extras like kettlebells and mats. It’s ideal for a quick reset between sightseeing or business meetings.

And yes, there’s a spa with a sauna and treatment rooms if you really want to indulge.
Dining: Breakfast and Onsite Restaurant
Breakfast at the AC Hotel Wrocław was fresh and plentiful, with both continental and hot buffet options, pastries, fresh fruit, meats, cheeses and excellent coffee. The breakfast room itself was bright and inviting — a lovely way to start the day.
We also dined at the on site restaurant one night and were impressed with the seasonal menu and attentive service. The bar area is also worth a stop, even if just for a cocktail after a long day exploring.
Travel Tip: Parking with a Hire Car
If you’re travelling with a hire car, parking is not on site, but it’s extremely close and easy to access. The hotel uses secure underground parking located beneath the National Forum of Music, which is only 0.1km away — just a quick walk around the corner. It’s well lit, modern and safe. You can unload your bags at the hotel first, then move your car to the garage. Super convenient for a city centre stay.
Service and Overall Vibe
Service was warm and professional across the board — from check in to housekeeping and the restaurant team. Everyone made us feel welcome without being overly formal. One of the highlights was our waiter at dinner, who enthusiastically tried to teach us a few Polish words during our meal. Let’s just say he had the patience of a saint and we clearly need a bit more practice! It was a fun moment that made the experience feel more personal and memorable.
The hotel strikes that perfect balance between business chic and boutique comfort, which made it feel polished but still approachable. Whether you’re visiting for business or pleasure, the vibe is calm, stylish and genuinely welcoming.
